To assist you better, we have prepared a short list of the most frequent questions and answers. We trust they will address your concerns.

Q. What are the service hours?
A. Monday to Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. On paydays, the Veterans Hospital branch is open until 4:30 p.m.

 

Q. Which documents do I need to become a member?
A. The documents required are: a recent electricity or water bill, a photo identification card (preferably your driver’s license), your original social security card, your employment ID card, a certification of your employment, and $50.00 for your initial deposit.

 

Q. What is the monthly fee for savings and checking accounts?
A. There is no monthly fee on regular (savings) accounts. There is no monthly fee on checking accounts, provided you maintain a balance of five-hundred dollars ($500.00) or more. Otherwise, the fee is four dollars ($4.00).

Q. Do I have to maintain a minimum monthly balance?
A. A minimum balance of twenty-five dollars ($25.00) is required to maintain your account active.

Q. When will the direct deposit be available in my account?
A. Your direct deposit money is available in your account immediately. Using the direct deposit option you will be able to save more time and avoid having to come to the Credit Union.

Q. Can I have my payroll check deposited directly into my Credit Union account?
A. Yes. Simply contact the Credit Union or your Payroll Department.

Q. Do I have to close my Credit Union account if I quit my job or if I am transferred?
A. Definitely NO. Once you are a member of the Credit Union, you will continue to be a member for the rest of your life.

Q. Can my relatives be members of the Credit Union?
A. Yes. Members of your immediate family are eligible to become members of the Credit Union. Contact a Credit Union representative for more information.

Q. How can I check my MasterCard credit card balance?
A. You can call the member service department at 1 (800) 981-8259, to check your balance during work hours.

Q. Can I check my account after work?
A. Yes. You can use either Tele-Coop or Internet Banking. Service is FREE and it allows you to access your account information 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Q. Where can I use my ATM card?
A. You may use your card anywhere the logos on the back of your card are displayed.

Q. How long do I have to wait to request a loan after becoming a member?
A. There is no waiting period. You can become a member, apply for a loan, and have your application answered in 24 hours. Complete our loan application online to start the process.

Q. Can I become a member and apply for a loan online?
A. Yes. You can become a member, apply for a loan, and order checks online.
